aboutus
Rennie’s Orphanage and Animal Rescue was founded in 2014 by Rondell Hamilton after realizing that there was no place that housed many types of animals that could not be reintroduced in the wild.
Beginning with two pelicans, ROAR started caring for animals from other organizations and the public that could not be released either due to physical or physiological damage or extensive human interaction and training.
Our organization is actively involved in the rescue, treatment and release of wild animals that are either stranded in people’s private property, abandoned by owners, subject to natural or manmade disasters or confiscated by the authorities.
Additionally, our public awareness program centers around increasing biodiversity awareness and appreciation, managing human animal interaction and informing the public as to the proper methods of recognizing and handling venomous species.
