Project H.O.P.E

Hope.png

In recent years, a high number of non-human, non-ape primates have been illegally imported into the islands of Trinidad and Tobago for the purpose of the pet trade. While primates are deemed “cute” and exhibit toddler like behaviours while in the infant stage, they start exhibiting signs of aggression, a natural primate behaviour, as they undergo puberty. As a result, many primates are either released, relocated and in some instances killed.

Project House of Primate Education and Enrichment (H.O.P.E.) was launched in 2021 to provide rehabilitation services to native primates  and sanctuary services to  both native and non native primates that are unreleasable into the environment.

If you want to relinquish your primate, support this cause, feel free to contact our Dr. Rondell Hamilton at 868-717-8818 or 868-347-6068
